Welcome back to The Friday Dispatch! For some of you, it’s the first time here :)

This week I’ve been on vacation, and dare I say, I made some progress in a few important things :)

First of all, we have some new faces here in the newsletter who are joining us from my programming courses and the launch of my book. Thank you for being here! To the others who have been here, I’ve been publishing programming-related courses on Gumroad for free and took the opportunity to help some people with their journey. More on that below!

I Made a New Video on YouTube!

Burrow’s End - Dimension 20’s 20th season - premiered on Wednesday, and I finally watched the episode last night. I avoided the community and all of the posts to come clean into the episode. And surprisingly enough, I decided to live tweet during the episode. You can find that here. Aabria liked it, too, which was fantastic to see <3

After the episode ended, I had so many thoughts, and I decided to make a video and publish it on my YouTube channel - the new personal one - and it felt amazing to put it out there. I think I’ll do it for the next episodes too. I’m also preparing to watch the finale of Wheel of Time’s 2nd season on Amazon Prime and making a video about that, too.

I Made a Video Course

One of the ways I’m spending my time recently is by making free courses for beginner software developers online. I have made two so far: the 30-Day Python Challenge and the Git Masterclass.

The 30-Day one is pretty long, so it’s only email content for now, but I made videos for all the days on the Git course using Loom. It’s been fantastic :)

I might make a video about how creating a course on Gumroad works. Would that be something interesting to watch? Let me know by replying to the email or commenting on Substack itself!

Still Consolidating Content

I have so many articles around the web. Some of them are on websites like Medium, and some are on places like Ghost. I imported a lot of articles here to this publication, but it’s still taking time to update them to remove any irrelevant CTAs and update the layout to work with Substack.

So that work is still happening, but once that’s done, I intend to keep going with articles about Worlds Beyond Number and other TV productions I’ve been enjoying lately. One of which was The Wheel of Time which just concluded its 2nd season on Amazon Prime.
